The honest answer is that it depends on three things, and any company quoting you before asking about them is guessing.
Not just bedrooms. A two-bedroom with three bathrooms takes far longer than a two-bedroom with one, and floor area changes the time again. We price all three separately, which is why the estimator asks for all three.
A home cleaned fortnightly for two years and a home that has not been touched in eight months are different jobs. Deep cleans and first visits cost more because they genuinely take longer, not because of a surcharge.
A place cleaned every two weeks never gets far enough gone to need resetting, so each visit is quicker. Weekly saves 20 per cent, biweekly 15, monthly 10 — and that saving is passed on rather than kept.
As a rough guide across Surrey and the surrounding cities: a standard recurring clean on a two-bedroom home runs $200–$230, a deep clean on the same place $330–$380, and a three-bedroom move-out $495–$575. Offices and strata common areas are priced per month on floor area, washrooms and visits per week — a 1,800 sq ft office cleaned three times a week is around $950–$1,100 a month. GST is extra on everything.
In our experience it is almost never about price. It is about the same three complaints coming back to council every quarter.
